Allyson Hine joined Bradley Allen Lawyers in May 2009 as a lawyer in the Commercial Litigation section.
Allyson:
- completed a Bachelor of Psychology at the Australian National University in 2003;
- completed a Bachelor of Laws at the Australian National University in 2003;
- completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University in 2003;
- was admitted to the both the High Court and Federal Court in 2003;
- was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of the ACT in 2003; and
- was admitted as a Solicitor in Supreme Court of NSW in 2004.
Allyson has substantial legal experience in a number of areas and jurisdictions including litigation and dispute resolution, debt recovery, management of legal risk, commercial property, workplace relations and employment law, residential conveyancing and wills and estates law.
Prior to joining Bradley Allen Lawyers, Allyson worked for another private general law firm in Canberra where she advised and acted for a variety of clients who included both individuals and small and medium sized businesses with a particular focus on commercial litigation. Allyson has also frequently acted as local agent for several reputable interstate firms.
Areas of Practice
Allyson’s areas of practice include:
- litigation and dispute resolution in areas including negligence, contract, leasing, building/construction and banking;
- trade practices and fair trading;
- bankruptcy and insolvency;
- equity; and
- corporations law.
Allyson is currently a member of the ACT Law Society’s Equalising Opportunities in the Law Committee.
